Understanding The Anxious Generation
Offered: Summer 2026, Asynchronous
4 Credits
Today’s young people are the most distracted, disengaged, and depressed students in history. Studies suggest overprotection in the real world and under protection in the online world are contributing to these traits. Through course readings, asynchronous online discussions, and personal reflection, participants will learn why our youth struggle and how we can help them as parents, as teachers, and as community members.
Let Them Not You
Offered: Summer 2026, Asynchronous
3 Credits
Many people have heard of the Let Them theory, but the active ingredient for success with LET THEM is the next step: LET ME. Based on The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins, this course will help you reclaim your energy, protect your time, and take back your power. Learn how to stop trying to manage what is out of your control and start creating a more balanced personal and professional life.
The Teacher Heart Mission
My classes focus on the educator. Teaching gets more stressful and demanding every year, and teachers have never needed more support. If we want to create a healthy, safe, and positive school climate for our students, we MUST prioritize educator well-being. Through these classes, teachers learn practical approaches to maintain balance, build resilience, and access meaningful support systems, so they can remain in this profession they love until retirement.
Meet Melinda Keefe, the educator behind the mission.

"I deeply appreciate how truly safe you made the environment for this course. It was a space that I felt comfortable opening up and exploring intimate feelings that were not always comfortable themselves."
